Here’re just a few of the singers that I greatly admire.
Claudia Muzio
Addio del Passato
and
L’altra Notte in Fondo al Mare
and perhaps her greatest work
Ombra Di Nube
Elizabeth parcells:
Lakme’s Bell Song
Michael Jackson:
Will You Be There
They Don’t Really Care About Us
Earth Song
Harolyn Blackwell:
“Summertime” from Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess
Dreaming the “Duke” (Harolyn Blackwell and Nnenna Freelon)
More additions to come!
I had to leave a comment and thank you for yours. I am also (was) a singer but I have not been inside a recording studio since I was 17 years old. Most of my work was on stage. I am unfamiliar with all the new and improved, but what they’ve done to Michael is akin to audio photo-shop. Having someone contribute that comes from a professional angle is appreciated more than you know.
I hope you don’t mind my linking to your blog. I love your site and the spirit of it. Listing Michael’s three songs above (Will you be There, They Don’t Care About Us, Earth Song, and my additions of “We’ve Had Enough” and “Man in the Mirror” I am more drawn to Michael’s ballads where he lets that vibrato loose.
Thank you for defending him ♥ And God Bless you in your work.

Hi, Bonnie. I’m honored you’re linking to my blog!
Michael’s served as an encourager, of sorts, reminding me that one should always pursue one’s dreams and work to make them a reality.
As much as I’d like to be, I am no where near professional. I’m just a person who is intensely passionate about music, a student trying to audition to get into the music department, and a singer who listens to other singers in order to glean valuable tips on vocal technique.
Kind of a music geek, if you will.
Thank you again for stopping by, and God bless!
